Liver Problems? Tea & Coffee can help.

by Hon Lee on April 29, 2014

People diagnosed with fatty liver disesase, according to a study published in Hepatology, can benefit from drinking up to four cups of coffee or tea a day. The caffeine contained in coffee and tea stimulates the metabolization of lipids stored in liver cells. I recommend drinking less coffee and more tea, however, because of tea's additional benefits. Tea supplies more anti-oxidants, helps with digestion, and has been used to treat a variety of health problems. Drinking too much caffein, whether in coffee or tea, can lead to restlessness and muscle tremors.
