Ten Tips for Happy Meals!

by Hon Lee on January 14, 2016

  • Eat like a prince or princess for breakfast, an emperor or empress for lunch, and a pauper for dinner.
  • Avoid eating when angry or stressed, otherwise your energy will be diverted away from processing your meal.
  • Prepare your food with love and eat consciously.
  • Eat slowly and chew your food well!
  • Don’t chill your Spleen and Pancreas by consuming too many cold foods or drinks.
  • Include a good amount of cooked foods in your diet. Between 40 - 100% depending on season, constitution and health.
  • Refrain from drinking liquids with your meals. Doing so will dilute the stomach acids needed to process your food.
  • Eat variety, Eat Simply.
  • Eat until satisfied, but not until you’re full.
  • When possible eat an early dinner, by 7pm. It takes at least four hours for food to digest completely in your stomach.
